Making arrangements for a funeral
When you are called upon to arrange a funeral it can be a very confusing
and stressful time. At Spencer & Peyton we will help you make any
decisions and to find your way through all the legal paperwork, in order
to create a funeral service which is both dignified and tailored to
your own personal wishes and beliefs.
Our funeral directors and supporting staff have many years of experience
and below we list a few of the questions that they would help you reach
a decision on:
1 ) Is it to be a burial or cremation?
2 ) Would you require a religious or non-religious service?
3 ) Would you like a church service before the cremation/burial?
4 ) Would you like to view the deceased and do you mind
if others wish to view?
5 ) Would you like to ask people for floral tributes or
donations in lieu of flowers, and which charity would that be?
6 ) Would you like to bring in some clothes for the deceased
to be dressed in?
7 ) Which coffin would you prefer?
8 ) Would you like a death notice in the paper?
9 ) Where would you like the cortege to start from?
10 ) Would you like to use our limousines or your own
cars?
